A Friend, A Stranger and Myself; Segregation of Color in the Games Industry

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

There is a disconnect when it comes to viewing racism in the industry of games and tech. We hear the anecdotal stories and we read the numbers, but there is a lack of understanding of how segregation of color happens in this industry. There is a view of not my problem and not in my backyard as we move ever closer to a frightening wave of right wing nationalism. If we truly want to see more diversity a lot of hard truths have to be confronted, with out it we are in the midst of repeating the ugliest parts of our history.
