From Sequential to Interactive: Comic Artists and Visual Novels

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Comics and games are closely related in many ways, and nowhere is this closer than in the form of visual novels. From affordability to narrative skill sets, these offer accessible, shared means to create. Join three creators (Kasey Van Hise, Hustle Cat ; Mia Schwartz, We Know the Devil and Strawberries ; AM Cosmos, freelance writer and "otome consultant") who've made the jump from comics to games as we discuss tools, techniques, and total indulgences.

Hello! I co-created and wrote a little game called Hustle Cat, and I'll be doing more Visual Novels soon. I also have a webcomic, Winters in Lavelle, that has been around 5+ years. Ask me about VNs, comics, and the visual storytelling language common between the two. I also love cats! Tell me about your cat!
